Who should not use a float tank?
Floatation is not recommended if you experience claustrophobia, or have epilepsy, kidney disease, low blood pressure, any contagious disease, including diarrhoea or gastroenteritis (and for 14 days following), open wounds or skin ulcers.Can you float with a UTI?

Does your hair get wet in a float tank?
Yes, your hair will get wet, though the water is neutral and the Epsom Salt is not at all harsh. If you dye your hair, you will need to wait at least 10 days after you dye it to give your new color time to set in completely. With red dye, we require waiting 30 days to float and you must bring a tight-fitted swim cap.What do you wear in a float tank?

Avoid Shaving before your Floatation Therapy sessionIf you must, make sure you allow plenty of time between when you shave and when you float, otherwise you will have to deal with the sting of the super-salty water which can be irritating and distracting to any open skin for up to around 20 minutes of your float!

Earplugs. Having the right earplugs is crucial. Silicone or rubberized ear plugs are the gold standard and have the best fit, with minimal chance of water getting in your ears.Should you shower after floating?
